Hot & humid
Up at 8:00 - Got bkfst. & done dishes - Billy & I went to S.S. & Church with Gladys, Ronnie & Cindy - home at 12:30 - I got a cooked dinner - had hamburgers - cole slaw- potatoes & gravy - corn & sliced tomatoes - Wrote a letter to Buster & Gladys & helped Billy write a note. Was just going to get him ready for Jimmy's birthday party when Dowling's came - it was about 4:00 - Billy went to the party at 4:30 - Fred & Catherine stayed until 8:00 - fixed coffee. They got apples, figs & grapes. After they left we went to Jim & Ruby's for awhile - She acted pretty cool - had coffee there - home at 9:30 - Read the paper & went to bed.
