Rain today - humid - Not a breath of air - Started a letter to Mom & Dad this A.M. - Called Catherine - Made a lemon cheesecake pie after lunch - Gladys & Cindy came this P.M. - Poured down rain while they were here. Geo. Gladys & Cindy came this P.M. after supper & got our sofa - Maynard & his wife came & bought Billy's tricycle for $4.00. Finished Mom & Dad's letter after they all left - also fixed Dad's birthday cards.
