Real cool & dry today -
Up at 7:10 - Finished letter to Mom & Dad this A.M. - Billy slept until about 9:00 - Str. up the house - Billy played here all morning - never mentioned going anywhere - We went to Kitty's & checked the house - fed the cat. After lunch I cleaned the windows above the kitchen sink - used steel wool on frames - really a job - washed the screens & storm windows - also permanent windows - baked a ham for supper - Catherine called tonite - put up bathroom curtain & one on back living room door - gave Billy a bath & watched tv & wrote in diary. Moved buttons on Billy's shorts & mended Hank's unif. pocket.
