Got up at 7:00. Sunny today - 85
Put storms & screens back in before breakfast. Started spading up a flower bed between the walk & house - worked at it off & on all day - didn't get it all done - went to Ruby's to check on Billy & had coffee there. Ruby came over in the A.M. & again late afternoon. Gladys & Cindy came down this afternoon - after she left I worked on the flower bed again & planted some flowers - planted the blue delphinium, rose balsam - devil's claws & porticula by the back door. Kitty came over for awhile. I got a letter from Hank saying they would be here Monday so I really got excited. Tonight I wrote to Mom & Dad. Went to bed at 11:30.
Wrote to Mom & Dad.
Letter from Hank - they are due Monday
Was to leave St. Thomas today
