Got up at 6:45. Rained all day & quite chilly.
Mended Billy's bedspread before breakfast. Took my hair down. After breakfast we went to Gladys's - had coffee - then went to the bank at the base. Got a cashier's check for $113.00 & sent it to Hank. Stopped at the Post Office - at the dime store & got blue buttons - thread & tennis shoes - got Billy a book at the drugstore & got coffee at Colonial. This afternoon I sewed on my housecoat & took my brown blouse up more. Gladys & Cindy came down late afternoon (5:00) - Midge called. Ruby came just as we finished supper. Billy went to bed about 9:00 - I done the handwork on my housecoat tonight. Don't have it finished yet.
