Got up at 6:45. Sunny & warm today - rain tonight.
Hank had duty today. Washed 5 loads of clothes & also done a handwashing. Put a wire over the strawberries - got my first berry - a big one. The birds had eaten several. Had coffee with Ruby this A.M. Worked on the flower bed by the garage. This P.M. I ironed - Dowling's came after supper - had coffee, cake & ice cream. Worked on the flower bed a little bit after supper until Dowling's came. They didn't stay long due to the rain that came up. Billy didn't go to bed until 9:30. Hank came home about 9:45 & stayed a few minutes. Finished up the last buttonhole on my housecoat tonight & sewed the buttons on.
