Up at 7:15. The stool went haywire this morning - water shot all over when I took the lid off - after we got the water shut off I called J.C. Hogge - 2 men came out & fixed it - it cost $7.65. We had coffee - then went to Va. Beach - I inquired about the car - found out we got a 90 hsp. & paid for what we got. The salesman who sold us the car is no longer there - he was fired. Then we went to Rose's at Va. Beach - bought index cards for cookbook & candy bars - then we went to Carroll's & ate lunch at the picnic table - went to Rose's at Pr. Anne Plaza - got Billy a light weight jacket - pr. of pants & 2 tee-shirts - also got a cookbook - re-inforcements - extra paper - carbon paper - 2 dishclothes - went to GEX. I got a new sink mat - flour sifter & mouth wash - home at 3:00 - had coffee - Mom made a coconut cream pie - fixed chili for supper - baked a coffee cake - Midge called. Billy went to Jimmy's. Kitty, Elmo & Ricky came up tonight - stayed until 10:00. Watched tv & wrote in diary.
