Memorial Day - Partially cloudy - cool.
Didn't do much today - Went to Ruby's for coffee this A.M. - They were painting the living room. We decided to have a cook-out if it didn't rain. Billy, Jimmy & I took the truck to Bayside & mailed Mom's letter. After lunch I made potato salad - Billy took a long nap - Hank went to the store. Fixed baked beans - potato salad - also radishes - carrotts & green peppers - cube steaks & hot dogs - We ate about 7:00. Ruby had macaroni & wilted lettuce - steaks. I went & looked at their paint job - then Ruby came back here with me - Jimmy & Billy were here with Hank & Jim - They stayed until 9:30 - We went to bed at 10:45.
Spaded flower bed by the kitchen windows this morning -
Mailed letter home -
