High 62° - rain all day & night
Up at 6:45. It wasn't a very nice day - Midge & Brenda came this morning - stayed until noon. I finished Hank's letter before she came - Billy had a terrible cough today. After lunch Dad & I went to Bayside - I got cough syrup for Billy - & 2 pie tins. Left dad off at the garage - (also got Air Mail stamps) - when I got home I rolled out 2 apple pies & a peach - baked 1 of the apple pies - then I sewed buttons on Billy's shirt - Dad didn't get home until 4:30 - Billy fell asleep on the davenport about 5:00 - had roast for supper. Tonight I done the hand sewing on Billy's shirt - wrote in diary - watched tv - balanced bank statement.
Mailed letter to Hank.
