Partially cloudy - windy
Up at 7:20 - Washed my hair before breakfast - set it after - washed a load of clothes & hung them out. Jimmy came over. Midge called & said she was coming after lunch - I cleaned the kitchen before lunch - Midge came & stayed until 2:30 - When she left I hung out the starched pieces - got the mail - had a letter from Mom mailed from Christiansburg, Va. Wed. - they had car trouble at Windsor. Laid down & put Billy asleep - got up & done dishes - cleaned the living room - got clothes in & folded them - cleaned the hall & bath - got all the garbage dumped up. Fixed rice, hot dogs, fried potatoes & veg. for supper. Dampened clothes after supper - Called Tina about 8:45 - Mom & Dad had called her this A.M. - they were still in Somerset. Will go to Tina's tomorrow. Wrote in diary - Bed at 10:00.
