Partially cloudy & some rain - cool
Up at 6:30 - After bkfast I baked Hank's Birthday Cake (white) - done dishes - straightened up house - was getting ready to go to Bayside when Gladys & Cindy came - they stayed until 11:30 - Called Catherine this A.M. & asked them to come to supper. At 11:30 Billy & I went to Bayside & got cards for Hank - also cake decorations. Hank came home for lunch - After lunch I made the frosting & decorated the cake - Billy wouldn't take a nap - put the roast on - vacuumed kitchen - living room - hall & bath - got dressed - Dowlings came about 6:15 - Had roast - potatoes & gravy - green beans - creamed peas - cottage cheese salad - kidney bean salad - hot rolls - coffee - cake & ice cream - They left about 9:30 - Watched Andy Griffith - Bed at 10:30.
Hank got cards from Mom & Dad & Maurell's - Billy got one from Wally & Carol.
