Up at 8:00. Cloudy & rainy today -
Didn't get very much done - pressed the new kitchen curtains & put them up - Straightened up the house - Billy went to Jimmy's to play - Hank came home for lunch. I took the broken pictures to Bayside Post Office - Stopped at Overton's for groceries - Hank went back to work - I went to Ruby's to get Billy - We both ate lunch there - had homemade veg. soup - home at 1:45 - Billy wouldn't go to sleep - Ruby came over & borrowed Ajax Cleaner - I hemmed the kitchen curtains up - fixed pea soup for supper - also ginger cake & whipped cream. Sewed a little on my blouse tonight - After supper we went to Mad Ams to look for a First Family record for Fred for his birthday - They didn't have it. Came home & then went to Holmes's to borrow his white shoes.
