Cloudy & cold -
Billy & I didn't get up until 8:30. Didn't do much this A.M. - Took the clothes off the rack & folded them - straightened up the house - cut out another pair of p.j. bottoms for Billy out of the white figured flannel - had to piece the legs - wrote out the check for the house payment - Sent it & a letter to Mom & Dad - Midge called this A.M. - I had a headache nearly all day. Jimmy came after lunch - I kept him while Ruby went to the Commissary - She got a case of milk for me. I baked date nut bread this afternoon - Ruby stayed for coffee - then her & Jimmy left. Hank went to Holmes's after supper - I gave Billy a bath - wrote in diary -
